Mounts on this page usually require the outlay of real-world money. Exclusive mounts are offered for sale in the Blizzard Shop and also sometimes as incentives in Blizzard promotional events, such as World of Warcraft Collector's Editions, the Recruit-a-Friend program and the Trading Card Game (now discontinued).
Other Promotional Mounts
Blizzard has updated their gear store with a new Warcraft Statue: Warchief Thrall! The statue comes in two different versions: Limited Edition and Premium, which we have previewed below. This statue draws upon looks throughout Thrall's history, including elements from Warcraft III, his time as Warchief in early Warcraft, and his latest BFA model. Blizzard Gear & Apparel. Blizzard Shop
Blizzard Shop mounts may purchased directly in-game, using the store button on your toolbar. They may also be purchased on the web at the US Shop and EU Shop. Some are offered in packages with companion pets, so be sure to check the 'Bundles' section of the shop.
Collector's Editions
An exclusive mount has been offered in the World of Warcraft expansion Collector's Editions and Digital Deluxe Editions since Mists of Pandaria. The older Collector's Editions are often now very hard to get, but you may be able to find them for sale by third parties occasionally. The older Digital Deluxe editions are usually also discontinued by the time the next expansion is available for pre-sale.
Miscellaneous Promotions
These are promotion mounts that don't fit into other categories, including BlizzCon, Scroll of Resurrection (now discontinued), subscription offer, and other game rewards.
Recruit-A-Friend
The Recruit-a-Friend system is temporarily unavailable while it's being revamped. See Blizzard's official announcement for more details. So far it looks like the original RaF mounts will not be available in the new system, but two new 'Explorer's' mounts will be.
Trading Card Game

The World of Warcraft Trading Card Game (TCG) has now been discontinued, but mount 'loot' cards are sometimes still available through third party vendors such as WoW TCG Loot, WootLoots and eBay. Blendr full website. Keep in mind, however, that the longer a TCG card has been out of print, the more expensive and harder it will likely be to find. These rare loot cards were only found in TCG booster packs, and carry unique codes that can be redeemed for mounts and other in-game items.
Loot codes are not currently redeemed on your Battle.net page; the procedure is far more complicated! You must first enter the code at the Promotion Code Retrieval Page which generates a second code which you must supply to Landro Longshot in Booty Bay in order to receive the mount. Be sure you select the right region and realm!
